In August, ProBAR was visited by a delegation from the ABA Commission on Immigration which included ABA President Deborah Enix-Ross, ABA Past President Bob Carlson, Meredith Linsky and Laura Flores Bachman, several volunteers from the Commission on Immigration, and Dalia Castillo Granados, Director of CILA.

The delegation worked on several pro bono cases as well as visiting a children’s shelter and the tent court facility in Brownsville where asylum cases under the Migrant Protection Protocols were heard.

We appreciate the efforts of the delegation to see ProBAR’s work in real-time and all of our colleagues who helped make this trip a success!
