ProBAR is proud to announce a new field office that will expand our services to the Houston metro area!
For the past 35 years, ProBAR has been a leading provider of critical legal services for immigrants and asylum-seekers across the Rio Grande Valley. Over the decades, our services have evolved to respond to the legal needs of people facing removal proceedings amidst an ever-changing landscape of immigration law and policy at the border. With this new step, we are excited to deepen our impact by extending our services to Houston.
Through our work at the border, ProBAR recognized the flow of clients from detention in the Rio Grande Valley who seek to resettle in the Houston metro area. In response, our team has pursued this expansion to ensure that people relocating to Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, Montgomery, and Galveston counties continue to receive our support.
Already engaged in the provision of legal services for unaccompanied children who relocated to Houston following their release from detention, the Houston Field Office is set to physically open its doors later this spring. We look forward to the opportunity to represent and accompany our clients throughout the challenging immigration process, empowering them in the next stage of their journeys beyond the border.
